Our Story
Chester River Seafood is rooted in the Eastern Shore tradition that runs as deep as the Chesapeake Bay itself. Located at 4954 Ashley Road in Rock Hall, Maryland, our market has been a community staple — known for the freshest local crabs, the friendliest service, and seafood prepared the way it’s meant to be.
Our specialty is — and always will be — Chester River blue crabs. We work directly with Maryland watermen who pull their traps from the very waters our market is named after. From there, our team hand-sorts, sizes, and seasons every batch to make sure what you take home is the best of the day’s catch.

We’re proud to be a Maryland True Blue certified partner with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Seafood Marketing Program. The True Blue program recognizes restaurants and retail markets that support local watermen and the Bay’s economy by using genuine, locally-sourced Maryland crabs and crab meat.
